Hello blog. Your owner is sick ):

All of a sudden, i'm down with fever, with my usual combo of swelling fong mok rashes and swollen ears. Like seriously sudden, i was still having loads of fun out shopping in town with reen mann. I spent a bomb, again. Yikes! But am happy with my purchases. Quite ironic, since our main motive of the day was just to get a pair of sandals for reen :\ oh wells..had been ages since we met up!

And back to my sickening fever, i had a terrible night while trying to sleep last night. Kept tossing and turning, and i woke up feeling worse. Popped 2 Panadol and my usual antamin pills for my rashes into my empty stomach. Didn't even have the strength to brush my teeth, so i didn't. Eeew..i know. Woke up with a terrible pain in my stomach. Seriously thought i was going to die. I was slumped over the toilet bowl for like 30 mins, with my body spilling out cold sweat. Finally managed to roll back to my bed and just gulp down all the pain. Finally got better when my mum bought back food during her lunch break.

Still shivering now. Bugger ):

And i just got my first pay cheque today! Woo! Which also means that i'm left with just 2 and a half more weeks of internship, which also means that my last year in poly is gonna come in 2 and a half weeks. Time sure passes fast! Fortunately, deadlines aren't as tight when i first started out 5 weeks ago. The first 2 weeks of itp was really hell. Hope all goes well for my last 2 weeks ):

Oh, and i just received my results last week. Totally unexpected, since i flunked my last presentation to the clients. Gonne work hard to maintain my gpa! (:

Hasn't blog for a friggin' long time. Busy with internship and all, currently going into my 4th week. Getting used to all these late nights and slacky weekends. Haven't met reen for a long time though. Can't wait to meet up sooooon!

Just bought the cutest pair of ear studs and ring from F21. Cute white owls. Yayness! They looked like little cute bao and peaches. Thanks to my him, who helped me searched for them high and low, and found them under the shelf. Heh! Currently crazy over rings. Am adding more to my ring collection slowly. (:

Was supposed to go kite flying on Saturday, but thanks to the rain, we went shopping instead, and i spent almost a hundred bucks. Aches...but happy with my purchases (:

Chinese New Year. As usual, house packed with almost 40 people. Felt like an oven, almost suffocating. Babies growing up to become running toddlers, running around while drooling chocolatey saliva. Further relatives getting mixed up with the 3 sisters. Chinese New Year wasn't as fun as it should be when i was younger. Sigh.

Chinese New Year wasn't much to celebrate about. It was more a of a break for me from all those hectic school work and stress. And now that is over, it's time to rush like mad again. All i can say is, "What a hectic weekend!"

Stayed over in school on Friday just to work on my VAF and Maya assignment. VAF-ed from 8 to 1am. Maya-ed from 1 to 9am, with a Tom Yam maggie break in between. Yum yum. And i'm proud to say that me and hwan are done with our commercial! Yayness. And we are finally satisfied and happy about the commercial that we created. *claps claps for us* :D

So i only reached home on Saturday. Totally just zonked out from 10am to 1pm. The moment i woke up, helped my folks to do some spring cleaning. Clean and scrubbed till like 6pm, then we left for my granny's place. Dinnered and ikea-ed as usual, then we made our way to the airport at 11pm plus to fetch my sisters back from Japan. Oh! And my sisters bought me a nice notebook from Ghibli Studios and nice maroon leggings! (: Only managed to reach back home and slept at 3am. Tired shit.

Woke up at 9am the next day to go to my cousin's place for his baby aka my niece's first month party. First time i saw her, and she looked adorable with the tiny hands and feet! Too bad i don't have a photo of her ): Oh well. After that, we went back home to rest for an hour or so, and we had to leave for a reunion dinner with my dad's family at Lai Wah in Bendemeer.

And now, im typing my report for my VAF, and suppose to continue mayaing in school tomorrow, and meet my sister later on for the buffet at Novena's Udders.

Not too excited about my internship on 1st March, which starts right after my piles of assignments. Need a break from all this shit! Yikes! I need a breakkkkk! D:

Yayness! My design is shortlisted as the final 5 for the Udders Pint Design Competition.

However, i'm not too happy that they selected the one that i did not really like. I prefer the one with the wooden background. And i doubt i can win it, cause even me myself prefers my competitor's design, the one with the waffle cone background. Sigh.

Dad drove us to Kilat's outlet just now to have dessert. Was kinda surprised that i have the most votes presently. But i won't hold too high hopes. Its only the 2nd day of voting.

Cycling from 2009 to 2010

Happy New Year everybody!

Spent my New Year's eve night cycling with my sisters and cousins. Cycled from East Coast, to Kallang, then to Nicoll Higway to catch a glimpse of the fireworks. Then we headed back to East Coast and cycled all the way to Pasir Ris Park and then to Changi Village, and then back to East Coast.

I think we managed to cycle at least 50km, and that's the minimum. The killer part of the entire journey was the never-ending stretch of old airport road at Changi. It was so exhausting that i kept imagining shadowy figures from trees, and my sis started hallucinating people walking past her. Yeah, it's that bad.

My ass hurts like **** now! Have never cycled so much in my entire 19 years of age. I think i'm gonna ache like shit tomorrow when i wake up. Yikes!

Christmas with a Feast

Spent my Christmas at my aunt's, as usual, annually. And as expected, a great big fat feast was there for us. Haha. Love Christmas at my aunt's. Great Christmas food, great Christmas ambience with the pretty Christmas tree. And not forgetting the big cute cat, Kye (:

Have been jogging the past 2 days. It feels great to run in this weather, especially just after the rain. Baked some Shortbread Cookies today too. Both mum and sis says its fab. Yayness!

Spent my Christmas eve at Pulau Ubin. Was raining in the morning, and was cycling in the mud, ended up with an art piece on my white tee. Cycled till it aches. Haha..but nevertheless, it was still a great day well spent.

The only pity was that the tide was pretty high, and we couldn't get to see the corals in Chek Jawa. Planning to go back during the last 2 days of this month, when the tide is at its lowest. Yay!

Christmas was spent at my aunts, as usual, annually. Had a feast man! Haha..shall upload the photos tomorrow. Good nights people! (:

Standard Chartered Marathon Weekend

My entire weekend was filled with this marathon. Went to collect our racepacks at Expo with reen on Saturday. Surprisingly empty, we only had to wait like, a minute? Yayness.

Then at another hall, they had this Loreal/Maybelline/Garnier (almost every cosmetic brand you could think of) sale. It was filled with Phillipinos and all sorts of women you can find luh. They practically fought their way through the various counters to snatch stuff. Women are scary people. Reen got good bargains for her powder and stuff, and i only spent like 5 bucks for like '2' concealers *teehee*, which usually cost like tens of dollars. Yayness. Shall grab the photos from reen soon.

So just this morning, i had to wake up at 4.30am to get ready for the race. We managed to complete the 21km in approximately 3 hours plus, adding on to the fact that i had to make a detour to Suntec City's toilets (thanks to my horrible tummy ache), and we went to help a man, probably in his 50s to stretch as he was suffering from cramps. I was no better. My knees were like giving way, though i wasn't panting much. I can hardly walk properly now. Yikes! But on another note, congrats to me and reen! At least we did slightly better than last year! :D

I guess i would never dare to join the full 42km marathon. After meeting dear after he had finished the full 42km, i doubt that i would ever join. Everybody who had ran the full marathon were like limping around like zombies man. Abrasions everywhere. Really admire those runners. Congrats dear, on being the finisher of 42.195km!

Wow! I just realised that the last time i blogged was in October. And it's already nearing December. Time sure past fast. Soon it's gonna be the 6th week of school, and the term break will be coming. And then, there's internship. Gahhhhhh! Not looking forward ):

I finally got my laptop back, after sending it to HP for repair for 3 WEEKS!! I even lost count how many emails and calls I have sent and made to scold them. I think they are kinda sick with the bitchy voice. Haha..ended up collecting the laptop personally from the office. So annoying luh..

Well, now that my laptop is back, it's time to do some catching up. Got to get it over and done with with my Maya assignment, and then get my resume and portfolio done. What's more, BDS's Packaging assignment is due this thursday. Shall mug hard over the weekends, like now. Yikes!

Human Nike Race 2009 completed! Heh..last Saturday.
Felt kinda bad for dragging his speed. His friends are like way ahead. We took (or rather, it's me) about an hour 10 mins plus to complete 10km.

Guessed i have improved a teenie weenie bit, since i last ran Standard Chart's 10km marathon with reen 2 years back. Perhaps because i didn't wanna stop that much when i'm running with him. Felt guilty! ><

I've finally updated my blog. Have been feeling rather piggish lately, finally got to do some work.

Seoul was pretty fun, though it was pretty dry during the first few days. Our butts were practically stuck to the seats of our tour bus, and had to glance out of the window to look at the streets. Motion sickness to the max, especially after u have got down from a 6 hours flight.

But things got better, when we finally had our free-and-easy time to go shopping along the streets and mall. Yayness! Bought a few clothes and goodies here and then. Thank god i manage to stick close to my budget.

OH OH! And a BIG BIG BIG thank you to my classmates!! Thanks to them, it was my first time celebrating my birthday on the plane mannn! Total surprise. And thanks for the video and everything. Am really really really really really touched! :D Brilliantest birthday ever!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Saturday was a busy day. Went to her house for the tea ceremony in the morning, and attended the wedding dinner held at Megu Event Hall at the Singapore Flyer.

The slowest passing weekend ever.
Watching every minute pass was so torturing.
Kept looking at the hands of my watch tick tocking.

Especially those 4 hours from 1 to 5pm, before i had my dinner break, they could kill mannn! It was seriously such a bore. Adding on, i had to stand for 8 hours, with a darn red tray hanging down my neck. Gahhhh! Luckily, things went by much faster on Sat and Sun, thanks to the crowd. And it made it even better when i met up with my favourite people after work. Even had an impromptu movie date with reen, watching Phobia 2. Darn scary mann, but with a funny ending. Worth watching!

And thanks dear, for traveling all the way down to boon lay. ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh my aching back and shoulders. It feels like my old back injury mann. Darn the long standing hours. Seriously hope i can push the job away for next weekend. Yikes!

Busy busy

Went to Wisma at 10.30am this morning, just to queue up to register for Nike's Human Race 10Kthat will take place on 24th October. Application was supposed to be closed, but due to overwhelming response, they decided to open another 500 walk-in application.

So off i went to register with my boy. I was the 292nd person. The first person came at like 6am luhh! Crazy people. We waited from like 10.30am to almost 4pm mannnnnnnn! My oh-s0-familiar feeling of the fainting spell keep happening to me. Annoying. Keep having cold sweat and jelly legs and wobbly heads. Sheesh! I'm such a weakling. Weird thing is that it doesn't happen to me when i'm running. >< And thanks dear, for accompanying me! :D

Went of to attend the product training at Clarke Quay. Ended up lugging 2 bags of SOYJOY stuff home. Will be working at Jurong Point's NTUC this Friday to Sunday, and next weekend at Woodlands's Cold Storage, wearing some big red dress. Think i'll end up looking like some weirdo doll. Oh well...and I've calculated, should be able to earn 294 bucks? Hmmm.. |:

Finally submitted my last assignment for this semester. Yayness. Next up is Maya assignment, but, heh..that can wait.

Went to squash camp after the submission feeling relaxed, for the first time in months. And i came back from it with bruises, aches and mosquito bite scars on my legs. Sheesh. Run, run, and more running, left me aching thighs that last for days.

Oh oh! And i finally bought my Samsung Q3 MP4 player at the Comex show, for $159. Should have like bargain a little more. But oh well. Double yayness! (:

Spent my weekends working as a flyer distributor. 7 bucks an hour. Worked with hwans on Saturday at Taka Orchard, and then with Dave at Boon Lay. It sure wasn't an easy job. The last time i had to stand for hours was when i was working as a promoter, and was required to stand for 8 hours. Sheesh. But working with friends made it a little more bearable and fun i suppose. Yeah. Don't think I'll mind working again, provided if i have the time (:

And my weekend spent with you was fun. Though i had to grit my teeth and bear with your supposedly self-acclaimed good cooking skills you have. Tee hee..but nevertheless, it's still another yayness for me :D

And i finally found the mp3 that caught my attention. No more sandisk for me. It's Samsung's black YP-Q2. Woo! $169 for 4gb. Not bad ehh..gonna get it once i get my last assignment done and over with this coming friday, and the squash training camp coming up this weekend. I'm seriously suffering during my traveling journey without any music. Yikes.

So, yeap, busy week ahead for me. Squash competitions which I'm so gonna lose, assignment deadline, squash camps..where's my long deserving play time??? But at least i'm flying to Korea on 6 Oct for our school trip. Double yayness! I want more part time jobs!!

Attended the annual Crowbar dinner yesterday, which was held at Shangri-La hotel. Went with Shina, and sat at the same table with the lecturers. Sigh, it would have been so much much much more fun if more of our classmates were there. It was just pure awkwardness with the seniors ):

Anyway, i was kinda surprised that it wasn't the Gummy Bear entry that got shortlisted, but my experimental photos of the fire. Weird. Things can just happen so unexpectedly.

SP got the 4th position this here, with 155 points. Though 4th, but we won TP!One of the team from the seniors won the 24 hours Challenge, congrats! Was particularly impressed by the girl from LaSelle. She won like 3 golds, 2 Best Ofs, and 1 Best of Show. She just made history mann. And have to agree that her submissions were amazing. Motivated to work harder as ever! |:

It's been quite some time since i last blogged huh. Have been working my ass of for the past few weeks. I really hate the last few weeks of school before a semester ends. It's like all the deadlines are being cramped together, it's just pure torture for us. Sheesh.

Ohya, so these are some of the entries that i submitted for SP Media Challenge. I personally like the 2nd one, Dusk, though it didn't win anything. The Red Stairs got me a forth position (:

And these are the reasons why i have been staying overnight in school, and working through the night. We were only given 2 weeks to complete this brochure. Our client was Young NTUC. Have to admit that designing this brochure was pretty fun, but it's just so draining. It gave me eye bags o.o

And after this brochure, I was only left with 2 days to start chiong-ing on my Creative Communication Assignment that was due last Friday. And on that very same day, i had a law test. The only time i studied for that was when i was on the train, on the way to school. Haha. Fortunately, it turned out pretty alright. Managed to remember a few stuff. Phew..it has been almost 2 years since i last wrote essays mann.

But anyhow, i did the following for my CC assignment. Chose Havaianas to be my client.

So now, the semester holidays have kinda started, since the other schools are having exams, and we design students have started to slack. But we still have one more Coffee Table Book assignment to go, which is due next friday.

Have been going around to take photos of cats lately, since i chose that to be my main focus of the CFTB. Oh wells..just one more to go. Bite on! Gahhh!

Finally, BDS's Marketing Report has been submitted. The above it our product logo, and some illustrations to go with it. Have been slogging for weeks over that finish it with my partner, Charmaine. Hahaha..yeah, though we kept seeing and meeting up each other for weeks, but i guess it's pretty fun? Hahaha..Getting drunk at Starbucks every time the clock strikes 10pm. Haha!

Stayed overnight in school last night to finish up on it, ended up with black eye rings and sore throat ): Went to squash training after that. Was so tired that i kept seeing stars when i was squashing, and hwans said i looked pale. Didn't know i was that weak ): Anyhow, i'm losing the motivation and energy for squash. Probably because of my hectic schedule that's sucking the energy out of me? Sigh..i don't know.

Another deadline is coming up next friday, and the creative brief was only released this Monday. Sheesh!

But anyway, lady luck has been shining on me for the past few weeks. Got a 4th for SP Media Challenge, and won some $50 Capitaland voucher. And last night, i just received an email from Crowbar, saything that i'm a finalist! Yayness! (:

Spent another 12 hours straight at Starbucks to do my work again, with reen and char. It's so scary that we could actually manage to work non-stop, except for that dinner break me and reen had. Char and I was so exhausted that we were talking gibberish by the time it was 11pm. Haha..kinda fun, but am really tired now. Really. Really. Tired.

Going to reen's place to continue doing my work tomorrow. Arghhhhh...someone give me an energy boost. Or better, someone please take me out to play!!

And Project Mass Reduction shall start now! Have been cutting down on my meals, and been jogging at the stadium for the past 2 days. Shall restrict myself to only 3 meals a day, or may be even 2. Have been neglecting my blog recently eh. Skipped squash training again to chiong for my DT2 assignment. This 2 weeks are going to be hectic with so many assignments. MLP report and presentations, BDS report, DT2 assignments and its constant bugging of updating its blog. And there's Media Law test next next week. Law TEST! Omg..i'm so going to flunk it, BIG time. I'm not interested in that module at all. The last time i wrote essays and did case studies were like 103938 years ago. May be even 4538901 years.

And i'm sick and tired of all these responsibilities. Seriously.
Argh. I need my play time. And I want it NOW!

School was pretty fun today, apart from the Monday Blues and Media Law lessons, which i fell asleep during lecture and skipped tutorial. Can't helped it when its rolly polly teaching. The only time i remembered staying awake was when he made this random joke about pH D holders having Permanent Head Damage -.-

Learned about publications in BDS and created our very own magazine cover page, featuring us! May be i should consider making Cer as my logo for my name card next. Hmm..oh wells, kinda looking forward towards the next lesson.

And i'm starting to miss squash, since training has stopped for MST. And i'm kinda starting to feel jealous yet envying those classmates of mine who are working hard in the Student Agency. Although they're busy and all, but they seemed to be having fun.

Argh..i will not regret my decision! I should, will and must work harder and join more competitions to make up for it! Hurgh! ):

Worked from 5pm to 8pm, 10pm to 3am, and 10am to 5pm over the weekends, just to submit my Tofu Oyako Design for My Stamp Competition. I'm still not very happy with the colour scheme though. Guess i was too tired to bother anymore. I'm already seeing double when i face the screen. Kinda like my character design though. Like the cheese and the baby. Heh..

Squash R-League Tournament

So today marks the end of Squash R-League tournament at SCGS. At least for the girls that is. The guys will still be playing for 5th or 6th position, if i'm not wrong. However, SCGS will be shutting down for a few days due to H1N1, so their match will be postponed.

As for us girls, haha..played our last match with MJC today. And we refused to be rank last cause we paid 15 bucks to join! Haha..good thing that we won 4-0. Woo! But overall, it was a good experience. We won a few and lost a few matches. Met all kinds of opponents. Rather fun actually! Woo! Lovin' squash!

School's starting next Monday. Dammit!

It's daddy's birthday today! He's 58!
Went home a little earlier after maya-ing in school to give him a surprise. A classic birthday celebration with balloons, pizza and cake. Haha..

Not sure whether should i classify it under good or bad news, but there's another squash match at SCGS again tomorrow at 3pm. I just received a sms from the organizer. Argh..i was already planning to go Starbucks tomorrow to continue with my Maya, now my plans are all ruin. Oh well, we paid 15 bucks for this tournament, its best to make it worthwhile.

And i finally left TSA yesterday. I thought i could stay on longer and see how it goes. Certainly did not expect my schedule to have so many clashes, even during the holidays. And squash has become pretty important to me. Sigh..just hope i made the right decision, and not end up regretting like the past 3 years. Guilt and regrets? Keeping my fingers crossed! ):

A random visit to my house by reen on Saturday.
Haha..i was suppose to be doing my work at home, but guess i procrastinated to much to start working on it. Was suppose to meet reen for dinner, but ended up buying grocery and dropping by to my place for some home cooked dinner. Or rather, just maggie and fruits, followed by a movie called 'Atonement'.

Finally, i'm done with it. Spent 108 bucks on the entry fees though. Broke like shit.

Have been skipping Squash trainings so frequently, till i felt guilty and decided to go for a run today. I almost died after 6 rounds. Darn those Mac ice creams.

Torture for this assignment is finally ending soon, on Monday at 1.30pm. Can't wait.

Can't believe i'm going to school 7 days a week. Headed down to school today to work on my assignment. Squash prep camp tomorrow, and more work to do after that. And i'm left handicapped 'cause my stupid mouse isn't working. I want an ice cream break! Dammit.

The more you anticipate, the more you'll be disappointed. Expect less, and you'll be surprised more. Trust me. Tried and tested, and it works. Being shortlisted for Robocup logo and mascot design competition was totally unexpected. Tons of effort put into Boys' Brigade, and was disappointed. Didn't really expect much though, 'cause even i wasn't satisfied with my work. But still, you'll still have that little glimpse of hope deep inside your heart.

I'm sick like shit. You can call me Rudolph today, as my nose was glowing red. And it doesn't help that studio lessons are held in a 15 degrees freezer. Even my thick waffles couldn't keep me warm.

Went to see the doc. So yeah, im down with fever and flu. How i wish i have 2 corks to jam into my nostrils. And hope my eyes will finally recover with a new bottle of eyedrops. And good thing i'm wrapped within the warmth of my blankie. It's cold~~

It's so not the right time to fall sick. I'm so drowsy, but i have work to do. Dammit.

I saw something today. I don't know whether should i laugh or cry.

I was on the bus, and i saw this little girl who was about to alight. She was in my primary school's uniform, looking all cute and innocent with her glasses and high pony tail. She looked no older nor bigger than a primary 2 girl. She might even be shorter than that Ez-link tap thingy. One thing that turned me off was that she was carring those oh-so-polka dotted bag that every secondary school girl is carrying now.

The next thing i saw blew me off.

She was carring a phone, in a black handphone sock. And guess what was imprinted on the sock?
" F U C K" in big and bold letters.

In my mind, i was thinking, "WHAAAAAAT??!"

Went to see the doctor after school.

So it's official. I have sore eyes. And was told that i can't wear my contact lens for 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS!!!! I'll be an ugly duck for 3 weeks!!!! Was given 3 days of MC, but i certainly can't afford to miss 3 days of school!! I'll bound to have tons and tons to catch up in luh. Sigh. Looks like i have to sleep in the living room for the next 3 days, since i can't sleep in the bed that i'm sharing with my sis. She even volunteered to wear goggles to bed though. Haha!

Certainly didn't expect to spend more than an hour at the stadium in the evening. It felt good to just sit on the sun warmed cement steps after a run, and just watch the people run, and watch the soccer boys training at the field.

It's one of those few times where i could just free my mind from anything else problematic like school work and all. It's one of those times when i could just leave my mind blank, and not doing anything at all except enjoying the breeze, and just enjoy people watching.

Wondering when will there be the next time, just like these. It sure felt good.

Been learning about branding and logo designs for the past 2 weeks. Created our own logo and name cards. That was why i had to bring my work to Downtown East and complete it during the Squashies' chalet. Spent 10 bucks plus for printing. Expecting more to come ):

Back from squash chalet.

Came back a night earlier though. Pity. Had school work to complete, even after bringing my laptop all the way to Pasir Ris and spent almost 4 hours in McCafe to do work.

And i finally know how it feels like to be tipsy. Kinda fun actually. Haha! It soo feels like Hong Kong in March all over again, where the squashies gather round to play and drink. That was fun fun! The only spoiler was that we kept getting warnings by the NTUC people for being too loud. C'mon, it's a chalet after all! Bugger!

A freaking fantastic first day of school i had.

It already turned out wrong first thing in the morning. Hoping things would turn out fine later in the day, but it went down the wrong turn.

My laptop was attacked by this retarded virus that crypted every single file in my laptop. Even those files that i have been working on throughout my holidays, like my Robocup logo design, and my squash banner design. Poof! Gone, just like that. I was so desperate that i was practically pleading with teary eyes, asking that IT guy if there was any way he could retrieve back those files. I can't help being emotional cause my heart aches for all the wasted time and effort i have spent on it. Damn the guy who came out the virus and that stupid ransom message included in it! If i ever see you down the streets, i'll make sure i'll bite you into a million pieces and feed you to the dogs! On second though, noo..i won't stain my teeth just because of you, i'll just throw you to the pack of hungry dogs and let them do the work.

This is the third time i'm having my laptop rebooted. Spent almost 4 hours in that frigging cold room just to fix the problem. Let's just hope it will never ever ever happen again. It's just pure torture to see your works go down the drain like this.

Oh, and i just realised that all my precious photos and songs are gone too. Bravo! Think i'll just sleep tonight and worry about it tomorrow instead. I'm exhausted. Nights all.

SD's FOC was totally AWESOME!!

Honestly speaking, was feeling kinda reluctant to leave when we break camp earlier today. Though it was hella tiring for the past 4 days, we still had truck loads of fun. All those camp songs, screams and even running around, even standing for prolly 4 hours with itchy scratchy white paint on my face during the Night Walk, it was fun!

New friends found, new friendships made, new bonds created, it was just kinda sad for it to end. Pity pity. Guess i'm getting emotionally attached to this camp too. And i bet i wasn't the only one who feel this way eh? Sigh. Oh well.

And school's starting in a week. Bugger. Quick, ask me out before i disappear for another semester! Haha :D Oh oh! And i wanna watch Handsome Suit. Heh. Has been ages since i last step into a cinema.

Have been feeling rather lazy to update.

Highlights were SD's foc prep camp, and dcmd01's April babies' birthday/thank you bbq held in school. Both happened last Friday. Fun-ing till i'm beat.

I've been a bad girl today.

Committed many sinful acts, but i'm a contented and happy!

Went out with my girlfriend today. Chilled at Coffee Club, and finally had our Muddy Mud Pie. Ate till we could eat no more. Sin number 1. Shared a super creamy Alfredo pasta. Sin number 2.

And she likes the watch i bought from Hong Kong. Yayness!

Went on to do a little shopping, ended up buying stuff that i least expected to get. Sin number 4, 5 and 6. Had random little snacks for dinner again. Sin number 7.

Just came back from a 2 days 1 night GL/helper camp for the FOC coming up soon.
Guess the last few weeks of holidays will be eaten up by camps.

I realised there are tons of camp songs and cheers that i have not even hear before. Also realised that the area outside the squash courts is a great placing for sleeping, if only the floor wasn't that teenie bit sticky. Haha :D

And my back is acting up again. Now, i can hardly walk with my back straight. Hopefully it gets better by tomorrow.

I'm yearning.

Went to Botanic Gardens with my parents and second sis for a picnic breakfast. Made some tuna sandwiches and orange juice.

And while reading the papers, we came across this picture with this lady which look like my mum SO SO SO MUCH! Kinda scary. Too similar to be true. Even my mum was shocked! Haha. Those who saw my mum before, compare!

Hong Kong & Macau trip with family

OH!! Before i forget, a BIG BIG THANK YOU to Makiyo Lio Shi Lei for lending me her Panasonic camera!!!! :D

So on the last day when the squashies went back, i extended my stay for another 3 days to join my family. Stayed with them at Hotel Largos, sharing a room with my sis and my granny.

At the Avenue of Stars with the spectacular backdrop.

Took an hour ferry ride to Macau on my second day with my family. A great place, certainly a good experience!

And their all time FAMOUS Portugese Egg tarts, wahhhhhhhhhh, to die for mannn!!

And Hong Kong's Starbucks is the best!! Their cakes and Green Tea Latte are fab!

A lonely train ride on Airport Express, followed by a lonely plane ride home on United Airlines back to Singapore. My family took an hour later Cathay Airlines flight back. It sure was an experience to take a plane ride alone. And while waiting for my family at the arrival hall, as usual, earphones are plugged into my ears, and enjoying my usual hobby, people watching. It was just so heart warming to see families and friends reuniting at the arrival hall. Running into each other's arms. Awwww...

And work suck today. Didnt sell a single box LOSE INCH/LOSE FATS. Yes, business was that bad, till they decided to cancel the promotion at Toa Payoh Hub. Which means, no work for me tomorrow! Yay! But, i have to travel all the way back there tomorrow just to collect some of the stocks there. Kinda sucky eh. Oh well, at least its all over, and i managed to earn 49 bucks. Hahaha! :D

OH OH! And thanks JESSICA for POPPING by today! You helped me killed 15 minutes of my hell! :D Looking forward to the next time we'll be seeing each other!

One word to describe my one week spent in Hong Kong: FUN

But then again, when was it ever boring to hang out with these people? (:

So we had to reach Changi airport by 4am as our flight was scheduled at 6.50am.

Not a Lazy Sunday

As usual, Sunday is a family day.

Went to the Treetop Walk at Macritchie at 7.30am with my relatives. The journey there was tiring, took us about 45 minutes worth of hiking, running and walking. Certainly did not expect the tree top walk to take less than 5 minutes to complete. Haha! Was fun though.

It certainly was the Magic hour of photography. Love the sun rays.

After that, went ahead to Sembawang, Woodlands, and then Choa Chu Kang's Kok Fah Farm. Haha! And that's when me and my sis got crazy. Taking crazy jump shots at a vegetable farm??? :D

Then we came across this talking bird. And my sis was trying very hard to get the bird to talk, and i took a stupid video of it. Haha!

I felt so utterly helpless.

Knowing that my friends aren't in the best of moods, yet i can't do anything to make them feel better.

The worst thing is that, i didn't even know how to console them.

I really hope that you guys are doing fine.

What can i do to help make it just that little bit better? ):

Somehow, this reminded me of how i cried like shit when the class was disbanded, and that i wont be seeing them again.

I want a part time weekend job during this holidays. But it's hard to get one.

Decided against working full part time as i'll miss out tons of squash trainings, and SD's orientation camp is coming up in March.

Back from chalet. Spent most of the time indoors, thanks to the frigging rain that spoilt the entire day. Only managed to go cycling at night.

And my ass still hurts from cycling. Ow~

I better catch up with my sleep.

But only after i watched my Sleeping Beauty :D

Largest and most beautiful rainbow that i have ever seen. It literally stretched across the neighbourhood. Caught it from my room's window. Magnificent, isn't it?

And Timbre wasn't that successful today. Full housed. Though i made a reservation and received a confirmation email, we still couldn't get in. Perhaps cause i didn't receive their sms? But kinda stupid eh. They didn't even bother to call and get back to me when that girl said she will check through the reservation list again. Looking at her face, don't really feel like arguing back. Darn. Somehow, i feel partly responsible for today, since i was the one who made the reservation. Sorry girls. We'll have it next Saturday. (:

But still, we had fun. Had free music from some pub while dinner-ing at Makan Sutra and laughing like a bunch of hyenas at Esplanade's rooftop terrance while camwhoring non stop. Haha! It was great! Can't wait to get the photos from makiyo and laugh over them all over again :D

Shall go watch Cinderella now and pack my chalet bag later. Toodles!

First of all,

Two consecutive days of shopping is tiring.

Monday spent with hwans, in town.

Tueday spent with my second sister, in Bugis. Got a really adorable vest from Muji. It's so woolly that it looks like a baby's. But heck, it's cute!

Oh mann..got to resist. Save now, splurge in hong kong! >.<

And i think i'm a workaholic. I'm so not used to days like these, when i'm soo free with no assignments to do. Guess i'm used to my hectic lifestyle. I can't even get to sleep, not till it's about 3 to 4am? Spend my twilight watching The Little Mermaid on youtube to kill time. Planning to watch Beauty and the Beast later on. Reviving childhood memories. HAHA. This is bad. My body clock has gone haywire. Any re-tuning services available?

Spending my Wednesday evening at timbre with the girls, Thursday and Friday at the chalet, and Friday night is when squash training resumes.

Hong Kong in 16 days. Can't wait!

Suddenly realised that i didnt blog about my VDS assignment 6.

Well, its about gummy bears. Took one whole morning to take photos of them. With about 2 days of editing, there are my final submissions.

And today marks the end of my IDS and HCD too. Had a interview/ presentation today. It was kinda scary, much more audience than i expected. Hopefully i did well for flash. ><
And i rushed off to Cathay at Cine to meet up with reen to watch Benjamin Buttons. Great movie! Love the storyline! But we both ended up with aching backs after 3 hours. Haha. And Brat Pitt looks damn gorgeous in it! Especially when he was at about 20 years old. He kinda reminded me of arron carter though. Haha. But still, gorgeous! (:

It's so torturous to spend sleepless nights over you. I even had to stayed overnight in school just for you. You better thank me that i gave you so much attention. But, i gave you up on that friday night, when i finally dropped you in Ms Janny's assignment drop box. I hope to never see you again.

Fortunately, im pretty satisfied with it. Since my previous one i did with Dreamweaver suck.

I found it so yucks after i edited it with Flash. Oh well.

Ok people, you can start asking me out now. Cause im freeeee! Hahaha! Well, almost. Since im left with only 2 more assignments to go this week. So, weeeee!
And i'm getting pretty excited about the Hong Kong trip. Me and my sis have already started planning where to go and all.

After slogging through nights for a week, and only sleeping when my dad wakes up in the morning at 6am, i finally submitted my DS assignment. Drawing, painting and stitching.

I realised, somehow, i like to do stuff that hurts my fingers. Haha..first wires, then wire meshes, and now, getting pricked by needles while stitching. And i counted, i got pricked eleven times, including one on my thigh. Sheesh.

My final 3 scanned illustrations on fabric.

Ohya, and i spent 45 bucks just to print my illustrations, after i scanned them. Frigging 45 bucks for 3 A2 size poster. Sigh. At least it costed much less than printing them on fabric, which cause 30 bucks EACH. This is crazy. If only i can be a rich designer. I think money problems are like restricting everybody ):
But fortunately, im pretty satisfied with the printed results. The matted posted texture helped it to give a dreamier feel. So, yay! (: Hopefully this last DS assignment of mine will pull up my DS grades.

So, 1 down, 5 more to go. And 4 of them are due this coming week, in 2 consecutive weeks. This week was a killer, next week is HELL. Stab me please. ):
The only thing that im looking forward now is the Hong Kong trip with the squashies in march.

I better start my photo shooting session with my gummy bears now.
